Recipe Notes

Tips

Avoid the use of cast iron

Eggs scrambled in a skillet made of cast iron can adopt a greenish shade. This is not dangerous but doesn’t look appealing. This color change occurs due to the chemical reactions that occur between the sulphur present in the eggs and iron present in the pan.

Don’t overcook

The heat stored in the pan continues to cook the eggs even after the pan is set aside from the heat.

Use American cheese

This sandwich doesn’t need better cheese to improve its taste.
