Honey and Garlic Chicken Recipe
Well, to do that check out this Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken Breasts recipe. It is boneless chicken breasts baked with intensely flavoured garlic, honey, and Dijon mustard coating. It is baked perfectly at high heat for about 30 minutes. This recipe is easy to cook and can be made on weekdays.
With an aluminum foil, line a baking pan of 8×8 inches.
Your pan should be large enough that there can be a ½ inch of space all around each breast piece, but not more than that.
If your baking pan is too large, you glaze may get too shallow and can burn easily.
To heat up the pan, place it in an oven at 425 degrees, while you start preparing the glaze.
For the glaze, take mini to saute pan, add butter to it and melt.
Then add garlic to it and cook for about 30 to 60 second, or until softens. The garlic should not turn brown.
Add Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper to it. Stir it well so that it blends uniformly.
Simmer for about 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat, so that it starts reducing.
With salt and black pepper season the breast pieces lightly.
Take out the hot pan from the oven and place the breast pieces at equal distance from each other.
Over the chicken breasts, pour the prepared glaze evenly.
Put the pan back in the oven and for 15 minutes bake it at 425 degrees F.
Again, take the pan out and with the glaze, baste the chicken breasts, by taking the glaze lying at the bottom of the pan.
Put it back in the oven and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, until a thermometer inserted in the chicken breast, where it is the thickest, reads 170°F.
Before serving, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes.
